Integrated planning
I partner my clients in developing monthly, quarterly or annual integrated planning processes encompassing the main corporate functions of sales, marketing, production, supply chain and finance.
The aim is to ensure that the inhouse teams coordinate their actions by applying Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP*) techniques to their decision-making processes.
Understanding the figures
Part of my service consists of training inhouse teams (sales, marketing, finance) in correctly interpreting company sales performance and cost-effectiveness by using suitably selected Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
I also organise sessions to train staff in establishing reliable metrics and analytical tools for evaluating the cost-effectiveness of specific units, factories for example, on the basis of clearly defined financial data.
Management By Objectives (MBO)
I will support you in setting realistic, quantifiable targets for your teams by helping you introduce a system of Management by Objectives (MBO).
MBO is an excellent technique for channelling staff efforts in relation to specific, measurable targets. It also boosts team cohesion and motivation, two of the main requirements to ensure success.
Methodological project management support
I will also assist you in monitoring your projects overall by helping you to adopt a coordinated approach to key aspects such as timelines, accountability and targets.
Using a system of dashboards you will be able to keep track of developments. These will also simplify interaction between your staff and IT suppliers to ensure that your corporate interests are protected at all times.
*Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) is an integrated business management process for constantly aligning and synchronising all organisation functions in relation to supply and demand. The S&OP process consists of coordinating all production and development functions (sales, marketing, product development, production, supply chain, finance and accounting) in order to meet given financial and organisational targets.
